In 2021, after the sudden loss of my mum, life became still in a way I hadn’t known before.

In that stillness, I began creating home fragrance as a way to find moments of calm again — something gentle, grounding, and entirely my own.

Working with scent, so closely tied to memory and emotion, brought a sense of comfort during an unfamiliar time.

What began privately soon extended beyond the home, as I started attending artisan markets each weekend.

Those moments — meeting people, sharing stories, and reconnecting with the world — became an important part of the journey.

From this, The Lancashire Candle Company was formed
