Refillable Candle FAQs

Is the vessel included?

Yes — each refillable candle includes a reusable Jesmonite vessel and hand-poured soy wax candle insert.

How do refills work?

Once your candle has finished burning, simply replace the wax insert with a new refill and continue using your vessel again and again.

Can I change fragrance when refilling?

Yes — your vessel can be refilled with any fragrance from our refill collection, allowing you to switch scents throughout the seasons.

How do I clean out any remaining wax?

For easiest removal, we recommend changing your refill while any remaining wax is still slightly softened rather than fully hardened.

Gently lift away any leftover wax and wipe the vessel clean with a soft dry or slightly damp cloth before inserting your new refill.

Avoid excessive water exposure or harsh cleaning products to help preserve the finish of the Jesmonite vessel.

Are the vessels reusable?

Yes — our Jesmonite vessels are designed to be long-lasting decorative pieces for your home.

Are the vessels handmade?

Yes — each Jesmonite vessel is individually hand-finished, meaning subtle variations in pigment and pattern may occur.

This makes every piece uniquely yours.

How long do the candles burn for?


Burn time varies slightly by size, but our small refillable candles typically burn for approximately 30-40 hours and our large refillable candles typically burn for approximately 60-70 hours.

Are your candles vegan friendly?

Yes — all of our candles are vegan friendly, cruelty free and hand-poured using clean-burning soy wax.
